About Plastic Surgeon Dr. Cary Canoun

Dr. Cary Canoun is trained in both General and Plastic Surgery. He also completed further fellowship training in both craniofacial and cosmetic surgery.

He has been practicing plastic surgery since 1999. He was previously an assistant professor of plastic surgery at the Medical College of Virginia where he was director of craniofacial surgery and the cosmetic surgery clinic.

Dr. Canoun is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He practices the full range of plastic surgery with an emphasis on cosmetic and pediatric plastic surgery.

Dr. Canoun has traveled to Guatemala and Palestinian territories to operate on children. Recently, a child was brought to the United States to have surgery by Dr. Canoun. Click here to read her story.
