Have you lost skin elasticity and muscle tone in your face and neck? Or maybe you have jowls and deep lines at the corner of your mouth that bother you. If so, you may benefit from a facelift developed by Dr. Canoun.
The Canoun Lift combines the best of both the short scar lift and the more traditional facelift. The Canoun lift is less invasive and leaves a shorter scar. Using sutures, the sagging tissue of the neck and face are re-positioned back up in the deep tissue. This puts the deep tissue back in their original position. The excess skin is also removed, producing a more rested, natural youthful appearance.
This operation is done on an outpatient basis. The procedure is done under deep sedation, which is given by board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive experience in this procedure.
While the Canoun lift is similar to the short scar facelift offered by the Lifestyle Lift Company, there are several important differences:
- Dr. Canoun is a double board certified Plastic Surgeon. He will personally take care of you from your first consultation to your last post-operative visit. At Lifestyle Lift, the surgeon is often an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor or sometimes even an Oral Surgeon. You often don’t meet your surgeon until the day of surgery.
- The Lifestyle Lift procedure is done in the office. The surgeon gives the sedation.Dr. Canoun performs surgery in an outpatient center with an excellent reputation for care and safety. Dr. Canoun works with a board certified anesthesiologist who will administer deep sedation during the procedure. You are very comfortable during the entire facelift. Most importantly, your anesthesia is under the care of a specialist in sedation.
- The cost difference may be less than you think.
