During a Breast Lift procedure an incision- the size and shape of which will be specifically determined depending on the amount of lift necessary – is made around the areola area. The areola and nipple are typically left intact to their original blood supply and nerves. The excess skin which is sagging is removed and the breast is re-positioned higher.
